The Countdown Begins!

I am officially within the 48-hour period before I head to Indonesia. Although I experience ocassional moments of, "Oh man, what am I getting into?", I am mostly felling excited and ready.

To set the scene, here's everything I know about my upcoming adventure...it's not much:
I'll be flying from Columbus to Jakarta via Chicago, Hong Kong, and a night in Singapore. Then I'll spend one month in Jakarta, hopefully learning a little bit about how to teach English while also learning to speak, read and hear Indonesian. Soon there after I will head to Surabaya where I will spend the next nine months teaching in a Catholic School.
